Epic: Black Mountain

From home to Dry Creek Lair recon, shoreline to Black Mountain connector, Black Mountain Connector to Black Mountain Unrideable Steep Section, hike to Black Mountain Peak, sign registry, see blazing mid-day Shooting Star, death-defying descent on Secret Sound of Music trail, then back home.

Unknown length/vertical statistics, pain metrics incalculable, sandwiches required: more than available.

Epic: Park City Lowlands

24/7, Flying Dog, Cobblestone, Glenwild (backside), Round Valley, Lost Prospector, Back to Glenwild, 24/7 to Car. ~ 45 Miles, 2 Sandwiches, 1 picture:

Whoa, Black Bess

Katy and Eric, and I decided to squeeze out at least one more sunny snow day up on Black Bess. It was quite nice, thank you.

Wednesday Nighter 3

I'm getting these all out of order now, and I don't have any pictures (which is too bad in this case). So shoot me.

Matt, Evan, Davef, and I went for it on the Shoreline in spite of the drizzly conditions. Steve drove up to the trailhead and shook his head in disgust before driving away. His loss :) We grunted our way up the slippery track to the top of the Whoop-dee-doos and whizzed back down - everyone swallowing mud along the way. Dave and Matt took turns riding the muck with their faces, and then we spent the next two hours hosing our bikes in Matt's driveway.
